Nuestro primer terremoto!
Am I dreaming or is the bed moving?????
Laying in bed in Curíco (middle Chile) this morning at 6.40am I opened my
eyes and swore Id never drink again, then however I quickly realised that I hadnt touched a drop of alcohol and in fact it wasnt my head that was spinning it was the bed!!!! So as panic
set in I did what I usually do in a crisis, shout at Antoine!!! :-) ...... "whats going on?". Given the fact that the whole buidling felt like it was
moving it didnt take us long to realise that it was an earthquake. Thankfully, just as our panic was starting to rise and we were wondering if we should get out of the hostel it came
to a stop and peace was restored. Quite funny looking back now, however to wake me up, give me a good old fashioned alarm clock anyday!
We are now in Los Angeles and making our way gradually to the southern end of Chile. It is the middle of the summer here and roasting warm so all is good
:-). A big hug to everyone and thanks to all of you who have put comments on the blog, we love hearing from you and knowing that your following us.
