What can I say.....I had one of the best days ever and all thanks to a big wrinkly saggy bummed elephant! We went to visit the All Lao Elephant Camp where we not only got to go on an elephant ride but we got to go bareback on the elephants and take them in to the river for their baths. Yes there was poo in the water, yes we got soaked (with the poo water!) and yes it is harder to stay on one of those animals than it looks... but it was AMAZING! It is something Ive always wanted to do and it was every bit as much fun as I had imagined. Laos is fast becoming my favourite country in South East Asia!
