Retenidos en Bangkok! Stuck in Bangkok!

Pues si amigos, llevamos ya 2 dias en la capital Tailandesa. Nuestro vuelo a Nueva Delhi tenia que salir el 28 de Noviembre pero al estar cerrado el aeropuerto seguimos a la espera de una solucion alternativa. Segun nuestra compania aerea vamos a poder salir el 2 de Diciembre pero nos cuesta creerlo... Segun hemos leido en la prensa el gobierno Español ha mandado 3 aviones para recuperar a los turistas españoles bloqueados aqui. El gobierno Frances? Ja, sin comentarios... Si no lo vemos claro mañana intentaremos ir a Kuala Lumpur y pillar un avion desde ahi. Pero, es realmente prudente de todos modos ir ahora a India? Dejar un posible golpe de estado en Tailandia para meternos en atentados terroristas? Humm... Ya os mantendremos al tanto...

Hi all, Yes our plans to fly to India on the 28th were brought to a halt when we arrived in Bangkok and found the city in the middle of a political crisis. Protesters who hope to overthrow the government have taken over and closed all airports in Bangkok, which means no flights can get in or out. There are rumours of a military coup but so far things seem to be peaceful except for a few explosions late last night. However there still seems to be no end in sight and meanwhile we are stuck here in limbo. Although after hearing about the situation in India perhaps we are better off stranded in Thailand than there?! Well thats a little update from us for now....tomorrow we are going to hassle our airline to see what they can do for us and if the political situation doesnt start improving soon we migh follow the hoards of tourists who are legging it down to Kuala Lumpur.  Cherrio for now and hopefully Ill be writing to you again soon from India.
